A New Year Begins Anew

As the clock turns and time moves onward, the school year comes to a close, and students, as well as faculty, are eagerly awaiting that final day of school so that they could be free and go on summer vacation.

The school year is ending and everyone will miss the small fun things found in schools, but it is not enough to make people not look forward to their summer plans. Whether its staying at home or exploring the world, everyone in Reedy has a way to spend their summer vacation.

“I’m going to spend the summer hanging out with my friends,” Freshman Christian Chavira said. “It’ll be a lot of fun because I won’t have anything to stress over.”

In spite of the fun summer coming their way, there are those who will be sad to see the school days going away for a while and having to get used to staying up late. After all, some of the best memories are made at school.

“My favorite memory of the year was making playoffs for baseball as a first year in the Varsity Team!” Junior Luke Delapaz said. “Although I will miss seeing all of my friends there every day.”

To some people’s dismay, the summer days will not last forever, and it will be too soon before the first day of school starts again. But there will still be things to look forward to, such as reuniting with old friends and getting to excel in your school career.

“I’m looking forward to a fresh start in grades and to begin another year of learning,” Sophomore Pranav Khatri said. “But I’m definitely not looking forward to all of the stress again.”

As the clock continues moving and time keeps going, the school years will come and go, as well as the summers. But as a new year begins anew, everyone will remember their times at Reedy as they go forward into a brand new chapter of life.

“I can’t wait to go to college,” Junior AJ Theisen said. “It will be fun to move forward from school and begin a new part of my life.”
